For High School Students Anywhere

Steeltown Entertainment is opening up its weekly Double Feature Movie Club (DFMC) to all high school students! The DFMC was created to give Steeltown students and teaching artists something positive to look forward to during the height of the pandemic. Both teaching artists and students are eligible to pick a film based on a genre that changes weekly. Everyone is given a week to watch the chosen films (links are provided). Movie links and discussion questions for each week are provided for students via email, as well as posted on our Instagram (@steeltownpgh) every Friday. Be sure to follow so you don't miss it!

DFMC meets Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:30 pm EST to discuss and share our opinions on both films, with nominators helping to guide and lead the conversation (with teaching artist support). The DFMC continues to be a beacon of excitement for students and staff at Steeltown and we're hoping to now extend that beacon to all that share our love of film and the art of filmmaking!

Movie Club is and always will be FREE. We welcome ALL high school level students regardless of background, education type, and geographic location. Here is the link to register.
